Talk about a lucky Irishman.........

April 16, 1888: AG Tuohy of Brooklyn New York escaped the one of the worst train accidents of the year with only a small cut on his scalp. Tuohy was passing through Philadelphia at 3:30 in the morning when his train was slammed off of the elevated tracks by a loose engine car. Both trains were wrecked and 24 of the 25 passengers, Tuohy being that 25th passenger, were injured badly enough to be sent to the hospital. Several died later as a result of the accident
